It’s been an absolute pleasure to be involved with a developer award since its creation. Year eight’s event was as incredible as all of the others, maybe more since we missed a year due to Covid. It was lovely to see everybody back at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge celebrating women in technology.
As usual day talented Vickie Allen and Teagan Collier had pulled out all the stops to decorate a beautiful DevelopHER style room full of pink and stars. The most important addition is always the chocolate fountain, which didn’t disappoint this year. We applied sensible Covid rules so we could share chocolate - there’s always a way!
This year’s nominees and winners did not disappoint with some wonderfully talented women showcasing the work they do to progress visibility of talented female in the tech sector. The evening is never about the politics though as we take time to celebrate the nominees, together with the regions most prominent DevelopHER sponsors and supporters.
